I’m in love.. We got a new cat today. I’m not really an animal person but i’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for cats. I’m pro cat and anti dog.. I <3 the cat.. He is gorgeous. Right now he is sitting on top of my laptop on my desk watching the computer screen change while I type.

His coloring is so cool. His grey but the tips of his fur are black. He has white paws and white on his chest.. He is really cute.. . He is about 8 weeks the people said..The kids love him and he’s been really good with them so far. He is a lil nervous about his surroundings b/c its all very new to him.

Pics of course!

He’s sooo cute! I’m like you, pro-cat but anti-dogs, but I have a soft side for small dogs and puppies too.

His coat is very beautiful — grey and white are one of my favourite colours. Is he hiding? Awww, he must be shy.

He seems to like my desk alot. I think its b/c i’m right here and he feels more calm around me. He waited till everyone left today and I was sitting right here w/him before he ate. He isnt running and hiding or running from the kids or shying away from them but he does prefer to be near me if at all possible. He also wants to sleep under Taylors bed. For some reason anytime we shut her door he will go to it and scratch. When we let him in he goes under her bed and goes to sleep. He is really good natured so far. And not at all extremely hyper like I figured he might be b/c he is kinda young still. But that might change after he gets used to his surroundings a bit more. But the lady who had him said he wasnt bad at all about being hyper.

His name is Jasper. I suggested Sam or Ralph and Taylor suggested Jasper (from twilight..LOL) and I didnt argue..

We used to have a black tuxedo cat. Ironically he was named Hippo as a kitten and grew to be about twenty five pounds. He died in the neighbor’s flower bed. She called to say that it looked like Hippo was asleep in her flower bed. Poor thing.

Now we have a grey tuxedo male (neutered) cat. Manchester is smaller than Hippo was. He only weighs about twenty pounds and is the boss in our neck of the woods. lol

I am glad you are enjoying your new cat. I love the pictures that you shared of your cat. I am both a cat and dog lover. Recently, I visited the local humane animal shelter, and played with the cats and dogs. I enjoyed it so much, I went two times.
