Off to the drs today..
So apparently my post yesterday bothered a few people. I got a few ANGRY comments that I did not publish on here. I deleted them. I have that right and I didnt need comments about how mean, abusive, or what a horrible person I am because I do not like dogs. I feel bad enough as it is. I do have a right to post how I feel. Yes my wording on the subject was rather strong. Mainly because I was in a bad mood and had listened to enough barking that I couldn’t take anymore. But please be certain.. I would NEVER EVER EVER hurt an animal. There are people on this earth that I do not like. That rub me more than the wrong way. Would I ever hurt them just because I didnt like them? NO! I would not so why is this different? Its only different if you make it different and I haven’t because i’d never hurt an animal. She really is a good dog other than peeing and pooping on my floor and the barking yesterday. BTW That lasted all day yesterday. It drove me insane.. I don’t know what was wrong wiht her but it was too wet to get outside and play with her till she was too tired to bark. SHe is also really cute.
Today we are off to the drs office with the kids. Well I’m off to the drs office with the kids.. Taylor, Cole, & Jewel all woke up covered in a rash this morning that looks eerily similiar to chicken pox. Right now its just on their “trunk” of their body.. Cole has a few spots on his arm but his front and back are covered. He has it worse than the girls. Whatever it is.. He says it itches too.. FUN! His looks like sores, the girls right now looks like ant bites which cole looked like he had a few of last night. I normally don’t take them into the dr on day 1 of rashes but I have no idea what this really is and considering they have been to vacation bible school and could maybe might be contagious I want to find out what it is.. I’ll update you guys later on what it is.. we are off to the dr now.
UPDATE: It’s not the chicken pox, rubella, roseola, or anything else I can think of. He isnt sure what it is really. He said that its either A. A virus that has to run its course or B. from them playing in a hot tub. That there is a specific bacteria (with a name too long for me to figure out how to spell or pronounce) that breeds in hot tubs that cause kids to get sick and have a rash. He said if its the bacteria it normally works its way out and goes away on its own.
The kids have been in a hot tub recently but the dr said it wasnt likely that its the hot tub bacteria due to the fact that a. the hot tub hasnt been heated this season and b. they JUST put the water in the hot tub on tuesday. He said the bacteria hasnt had time (or the heat) to breed and the pumps have not been running yet they were just using it for the kids to play in. So really he isnt sure what it is. He said to consider them at this point contagious and keep them home..

Gosh Tosha, I hope I didn’t make you mad. I didn’t mean it in a bad way about the dog. I think your husband is very insensitive to keep bringing dogs home when he knows how you feel and then making you the “bad guy” by finding it another home. Animal loves are strange people!!!
Good luck at the doc today. It would be strange for all your kids to have the chicken pox at the same time with the incubation period the way it is. So, I’ll be checking back to see what you found out. Good luck.
Joy,
Your comments didnt upset me or make me mad at all. Not in the least. You were honest with how you felt and you were not mean or unkind to me in the least.
I updated the post with an update about the kids..
I’m so sorry that people were mean to you. Oh I wish I could punch them in the nose!!! You have the right to post ANYTHING you want, they can choose not to rad it. How dare them!!
I’m glad the kids don’t have Chicken Pox, what I nightmare that would’ve been! Hopefully it will work itself out FAST!! Poor babies:(… poor momma!!
I hope all turns out well. I didn’t think it was chicken pox because it would be way to easy to get it all over at once! LOL!!! My kids each got that 21 days apart. So we had to deal with it for almost two months. Life can’t be to easy for us don’t cha know. Have a good rest of the day. At least you can relax now.
Hope your kids rash doesn’t last as long as the boys did. They had fifths though. Dalton’s lasted six weeks and Dakota’s three. Hope they aren’t as miserable as my boys were. Between the benadryl and the creams we had to keep rubbing them down with, I stayed busy keeping them as comfortable as possible. Good luck this week.
How are you guys all doing today?
