And sometimes they share…

Getting the kids to share anything is like trying to pull an aligators teeth. Toys, clothes, food, friends. It doesnt matter what it is they won’t share. They fight over it non stop. Everyday its a brand new fight over the same OLD things. The one thing they don’t mind sharing with the ENTIRE family is GERMS!

Thats right. Their germs! This morning hubby, Taylor, and myself woke up all extremely sick to our stomachs. Needless to say I wasn’t leaving this house this morning and neither was hubby.. My MIL hauled Jewel and Cole to school while the rest of us crawled back in bed to pray for death.  We all seem to be feeling better this afternoon but oh boy what  a rough morning!

  • I’m glad your feeling better today. Hopefully the rest of the crew won’t get what you had. The stuff that went around this winter, well, it sucked!! We normally don’t get this stuff but this year we just kept passing it back and forth.

Fighting is another issue. It’s so hard. I used to just take away what my boys were fighting over if it got bad enough. Usually they stopped just short of losing whatever it was because with all my faults, I was consistent and they knew it. Another thing I used to do with fighting was giving them a time out “in the same room.” Once left alone, just the two of them, the fighting spirit seemed to leave them since it was only hurting them. That was of course if the fight was with words only. Sometimes I think they fought “for my benefit.” K-I-D-S!!!!!
